Rick Astley's tribute to the music of his youth
I’ve had Rick Astley 2018 album Beautiful Life on my list for a while and finally got around to listening to it. The album was surprisingly good, so kudos to all of those Astley fans who told me to delve deeper. The album did well in some European countries but sadly didn’t make a crack on this side of the pond.
This song is the final track of the album and it immediately grabbed me with all the references to the music of his youth, classic British rock. See how many you catch - some are sneaky!

I remember doing this with Don McClean's American Pie years ago. More than a few nostalgic references in that one too. To say the least!
