Now I'm Here
Queen
This song has popped into my head and won’t let go, specifically:
Here I stand (Here I stand)
Look around, around, around, around, around
The song is a Brian May composition off the Sheer Heart Attack album. It didn’t do much on the charts but has always been a staple of their live shows. It’s based on May’s experiences on tour when Queen was opening for Mott the Hoople. Hoople gets a mention in the line “Down in the city, just Hoople and me”. I could never make out the word “hoople” in listening to it, but I didn’t have context!
The official video is a live one. The vocal is very different, but Freddie does what Freddie wants. He liked starting the song in the dark to play illusions on the audience, thanks to a stagehand wearing the same outfit on the opposite side of the stage.
I prefer the recorded version. As to why it’s those lines are in my head, we’ll have to wait and see. Enjoy your song of the day!

The mystery has been solved. It's spiritually based. May write more on Catalysts of Change.
