This song appears on The Nylons’ second Christmas album from 1998, A Wish For You. It has a special place in my heart because it was written by my friend Mark Cassius while he was with the acapella group. It’s a simple, catchy song about a letter to Santa asking for, well, love, peace and harmony. Like all Nylons songs, the harmonies are gorgeous.
It was never released as a single so this is the deepest of deep cuts. Enjoy your song of the day!
Hi MK, here's one from me back to you. It's Miley Cyrus doing a feminist version of 'Santa Baby'.
Good fun!
In case I don’t get back in there before Monday: MERRY CHRISTMAS, May the Lords of Kobol be with you, and Io Saturnalia to you and all of yours!
(Just making sure that I cover all the possibilities. I, of course, wish they would bring Saturnalia back.) 😉
